Hey it took me quite a long time to do this one, I wanted to do something nice. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Please take time to comment, i'm a beginner in digital coloring, so hints, tips and crits are much welcome.

Pencil sketch + PS inks + PS color

Hey, j'aime bien par contre je trouve qu'il y a pas mal de petits defauts, comme :
-au niveau des cheveux, j'aime beaucoup la technique, mais il y a une meche qui part vers le haut, je la trouve étrange, trop visible ou pas a sa place, bref elle m'embete un peu.
- le visage, c'est pas assez aligné au niveau bouchen nez yeux.
-Le T-shirt n'a aucune forme, c'est pas top.

Voila, j'espere ne pas t'avoir ennuyé.

Merci beaucoup pour les critiques c'est toujours bon à prendre.

Le tshirt entièrement d'accord, je n'avais jamais remarqué, mais maintenant que tu le dis, ça me saute tellement aux yeux, c'est horrible .. qlq ombres donnerai un peu plus de forme.

Sur le visage il ya effectivement un oeil qui seme le troupe sur l'alignement ..

Pour la mèche faudra que tu dise cela à ma femme elle a toujours un é;pis sur le haut du crane ^^ mais attention, c'est travaillé ! Une heure de brushing pour ce résultat pétard, lol!

Not bad at all for your first try. I couldnt give any tips or crits because I use Illustrator, but good job!

This is not really a first try, but I don't digital color since a long time.
How is Illustrator different than Photoshop? Is it better for this kind of work?

I think it is better for absolute control, and ease of selecting objects. Most of what I do has to be able to output as four color process printing, so color control is essencial. That is not to say you cant do the same thing in Photoshop, I just like the cleanliness of a vector as opposed to a raster image. Changes in type and colors are far easier too in a vector.
